Configuration Tool.

1. Подключите ET08 к основному источнику питания.
2. Используя кабель, соедините порт USB mini устройства ET08 с компьютера.
3. Запустите программу Configuration Tool.

2.2. Control settings

In section Users provide users mobile telephone numbers which will receive informational SMS messages about occured alarm events.

It is necessary to enter only telephone number of the first user (User1), i. e. it is not necessarily to enter all 5 numbers (User1…User5) at once. User must type mobile number in the international format (it consist of only those digits that overseas callers must type: [country code][area code][local number]) without symbol '+'.

E.g. the mobile number of user in United Kingdom is +44 (0) 113 xxx xxxx, so the incorrectly and correctly entered numbers are:

Incorrectly entered user number: 440113xxxxxxx or 0113xxxxxxx

Correctly entered user number: 44113xxxxxxx

In sections Event Code XYZ, Group or Partition Number GG and Zone Number CCC provide preferred standart code identifications „ID“ (check available values in section 3 for a specified code) and the text („Message“) which will be applied for it. In this case, when Alarm Control Panel sends CONTACT ID protocol message to ET08 device, system decodes it and creates a user-understandable text of all 3 codes (XYZ, GG, CCC). This text will be sent to users by SMS message.

NOTE: check available ID values in section 3 for a specified code (XYZ, GG, CCC).

2.3. System settings

To restore system default parameters, press button Reset to Default. It is recommended to use this function only in those cases when system works inappropriate.

2.4. CSD and GPRS settings

CID over GPRS Enable – this function enables CONTACT ID message transmition to monitoring station via GPRS network.

Profile – code name of the selected GPRS parameters

APN – GPRS access point provided by the GSM operator of the used SIM card.

User Name – user name (provided by GSM operator).

Password – password (provided by GSM operator).

Server IP – IP address of the router that the server is connected to.

Server TCP Port – router TCP port number used for communicating with the device.

DNS1 – Primary DNS server IP address.

DNS2 – DNS server IP address.

Test Period – period time of sending CONTACT ID protocol messages to monitoring station. The recommended value using GPRS Network is 60;

Device ID – Identification number of device, which receives CONTACT ID protocol messages via GPRS. This parameter is only useful when security system works with EGR100 software.

GPRS Attempts – This function is used for indicating the number of attempts the system tries to connect to GPRS network if the initial connection was unsuccessful. Parameter range from 1 to 255.

Delay between Attempts – This function is used for indicating delay time in seconds the system stops to try to transfer CONTACT ID protocol to Monitoring Station if GPRS network connection were unsuccessful. By default, this time is 600 seconds. Parameter range from 1 to 65535.

2.5. Input/Output Control

It is necessary to enter only telephone number of the first user (User1), i. e. it is not necessarily to enter all 3 numbers (User1…User3) at once. User must type mobile number in the international format (it consist of only those digits that overseas callers must type: 44[area code][local number]) without symbol '+'.

E.g. the mobile number of user is +44 (0) 113 xxx xxxx, so the incorrectly and correctly entered numbers are:

Incorrectly entered user number: 440113xxxxxxx or 0113xxxxxxx

Correctly entered user number: 44113xxxxxxx

Output Report – by enabling this feature the communicator will send SMS report to entered on output status phone numbers when output is activated / deactivated.

Normal Output Mode – regular output mode allowing to control output by SMS command.

Output for Tel. line Lost Report – under this mode the output is activated in case of telephone line (PSTN) failure and deactivated in case of telephone line restore. Output control by SMS command is disabled in this mode.

SMS Password – 4 digit password which is used for input/output configurations and control via SMS messages. By default, password is 0000, which is NECESSARY to change.

Input ON message – text alert sent by SMS in case of input trigger event.

Input OFF message – text alert sent by SMS in case of input restore event.

Output Name – output name indicated in SMS reports.

Backup Line Text – text alert sent by SMS in case of telephone line failure.

Tel. Line Restore – text alert sent by SMS in case of telephone line restore.

Telephone Line Delay – delay period of time in seconds between telephone line failure and restore events. If telephone line failure and restore events occur before the set delay period of time is over, the system will not send the SMS report. Value range - [1-250] seconds.
